In 2004, Chechen terrorists held 1,200 people captive in a school in North Ossetia, Russia. By the end of the ordeal 385 people, mostly children, were dead. This captivating production of Us/Them was produced by Theatre company, BRONKS, and was written and directed by Brussels-based actor, writer and teacher, Carly Wijs. It’s a playful yet moving re-telling of those tragic events through the eyes of two Children.
Although created for Children, Us/Them is an extraordinarily mature show that teaches vital lessons on the manipulation of truth, thereby encouraging Young People to question what they are told.
