I met up with Mandisa Qwosha, from Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation, along with Marius Mama, Errienne Matwan and Harrington Tiny Ngaleka, from the South African Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS). These four incredibly inspiring people are dedicated to helping their communities and are all attending the Cradle of Creativity to participate in the After School Game Changer training – a programme specifically designed for local Artist-Facilitators.
These facilitators make use of Theatre, Dance and Sport in their work, offering Young Participants an opportunity to play and to dream.
In the following audio interview (20 minutes), they not only shared what they are doing within their organisations, but also how thankful they are for the After School Game Changer programme and their reflections on two performances from the Cradle: Gretel and Hansel and Making Mandela.
