Ernie Nolan, the facilitator of the A Sense of Place playwriting workshop, hands the participants a map of Cape Town and tells them to go out into the city and to take photographs of anything they like. Using these photos as stimuli, they will be writing monologues to be shared with, and performed to, the workshop group next week.
